Travel Inn

Wasn't expecting something better in this rate. But hospitality is great. The staff is friendly & welcoming. I was scared earlier when I saw the reviews but then I came to know Management recently changed 4 months ago.

Really honestly enjoyed our stay this time. Got a nicer room this time, double beds, and they seem bigger than the rooms with just the one bed. My wife and I had our son Jaxsons 3rd paw patrol pool party. On Wednesday, July-04-2019. He got to have an absolute blast playing with his toys and big brother Zackary Chase and his cousin Landon Travis. Also had a few family members show up to celebrate his 3rd birthday party with us. We had already planned his birthday party ahead of time. My son got to truly enjoy himself and his party and the Loved ones that did come, we went & got 3 little ceasers pizzas and already had his made and picked up on the way up here, mt dews and Hawaiian Punch, fruit punch, needless to say that it made my wife and I extremely happy, just to see all the fun he had. I'd like to thank Jay the owner of the travel inn in Ridgeway VA for letting us entertain and celebrate our sons birthday at his establishment. We're already thinking about staying here again tonight Thursday, July the 4th to be able to watch the Martinsville speedway fireworks tonight. We'll see how it goes by about 10:00-10:30 am So glad we were able to make it happen for him. I'd recommend the Travel Inn to any and every one of my family members and friends, or even to a stranger. Any day!! Thanks again Jay for allowing us to be able to make it happen. We'll definitely continue to be back, continuously, as often as I can make sure my wife and I have the extra cash to make it happen. I wouldn't stay anywhere else up here, my business has been, and will continue to be right here at the Travel Inn.

After a very long and hot day it was later by the time I got to check in and the welcoming I got was so very nice! I said something smells really good of which was what the management had cooked for them then they have me a bowl of it!!! Very large clean room!!! No bugs... And I had a good night sleep... Compared to other hotels in area at a more expensive price and truthfully not worth it I definitely recommend staying here when passing through Thank you to wonderful staff Maybe next time the pool will be ready to swim in...lol

Honestly they have the best bed I have ever slept on. Currently homeless and have stayed at some hotels here in Martinsville, guy was super nice, helpful. Checked the room after checking me in just to make sure it was good. Never had that happen but honestly was so nice! Would stay again once have the money! Thank you!

Actually alot of people have said this is a horrible hotel, but I'm sure that has to do with the fact of who usually stays here. My boyfriend and I have stayed at alot of hotels to see which one was the best in the Martinsville area all around. Considering price, cleanliness, location, room service/room aide, and number of things available to you (like the pool, the FREE phone, the number of cable channels, understanding on being able to leave later than supposed to, wake up calls). Honestly i rate this hotel higher than all low name hotels, and some high end hotels for one thing above all, the fact the the owner himself takes care of alot of the cleaning to make sure it gets done. I've known people that have worked at hotels and alot say that alot of things you wouldn't believe go undone because some people really dont care. At the Travel Inn however, the owner himself makes sure the sheets are taken off and changed, and that there is no trash in the room, that the bathrooms are clean and so forth. Like i said that's really the main reason i like staying there is because I know the owner take pride in that and isn't lazy about it. I also put their prices above all others in this area, and love the fact that their pool is open till late. Thank you.

The owner is very sweet and nice he has really worked hard to renovate the rooms the rooms ate looks ng good after he has had them freshly painted. Ice furniture put in room's and hasn't fail to get what I. Needed to make .my visit enjoyable

Good place to stay. No this not the Marriott but you do get your money's worth.

This inn is great. The guy in the office is awesome. Me and my sister stayed there bout a month or so.quite there. The cleaning lady is great also.if I had to stay at a hotel again I'd go here.

Great place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice & clean. Great amneties. Centrally located to restaurants, grocery stores & other convenient businesses. I highly recommend.

Very good place for stay. Staff was very friendly, We enjoyed our stay and recommend others. The rooms are clean and comfy. Nice TV channels and everything is in close proximity.
